IN HOUSE - MARKETING ASSISTANT · Social Media

UTSA Student Union

At the UTSA Student Union, I worked across social, content, and event marketing as the Union's Marketing Assistant. I built a data-informed social content approach, produced photo and video assets for digital campaigns within university brand standards, and partnered with the events team from planning through on-site capture and post-event recap to expand the reach of campus programming.

Recognition

Superstar Award

During my time at the UTSA Student Union, I was honored with the Superstar Award — the Union's version of Employee of the Month, given to staff who go above and beyond their role.

I earned it after covering the Union's Solar Eclipse viewing event on my own — a gathering of 250+ students on the field. I shot, edited, and posted photos in real time so the moment could live on socials as it was happening.

The photo on the left is one of the shots I took that day.
